Tips on Planning The Perfect Pavilion Gathering
- Less is more when decorating the pavilion.
- There is always a light breeze, lightweight and tall centerpieces do not work well
- The mantel works as the perfect focal point for decorations
- Don’t forget the chairs!
- The pavilion comes equipped with four farm tables but no chairs
- Classic Event Rentals or have BYOC (bring your own chairs)
- Checklist of necessary items:
- Trash/recycle bags
- Serving ware (compostable serving ware is required)
- Drink containers & compostable cups
- Bug spray & sunscreen
- First aid kit
- Coolers & ice
- Things to remember!
- It is an outdoor pavilion and may be subject to debris and bird droppings
- Arrive early to inspect the area
- Seasonally, geese do visit the park – if hosting a party with children, be aware that there might be goose droppings surrounding the pavilion and they might need to be removed.
- Parking at the Pavillion is limited to ADA necessity and loading and unloading only. All other parking is ideally located on the other side of the railroad tracks from the pavilion. Please have guests park there and keep the emergency access road free of cars.
